3. Do students meet you online, how is the school taught? Is it a workshop class?
There are 7 Lessons that include two course textbooks. One for terminology, workflow and filling in the cracks for someone just getting started or who has been doing music for awhile. There is also an Advanced computer music theory textbook.
Once enrolled, students are emailed the course work. Homework ranges from reading in the course textbook to applying hands on what is discussed and constantly asking questions. Students cannot go to the next lesson until completing the previous. Each beat and song is personally critiqued and given feedback on quality, time frame and their process from start to finish.
Questions like: Is it efficient, are they spending too much time looking for sounds or doubting themselves? Are typically asked during the homework process of each lesson.
______________________________
This is not an ‘online music course’ as most people would define an online course. Traditional online courses typically consist of reading material, answering questions, and taking a test.
However our course is an interactive training and mentoring course using a combination of online access, phone and email support giving 24/7 hands on training with included one-on-one student advisor support.
Every question gets answered with this process.
With music education, There is no ‘one size fits all’. Each student has their own equipment, goals, background, region and connections that need personal attention.
There is no need to pay additional travel and housing costs. Each students home studio becomes their personal production and recording school.
